FabTEC Melamine Panel

FabTEC is a breakthrough combination of Fireflex Acoustical Foam with a High-Performance Non-Woven Fabric. When brought together, a lightweight yet very durable acoustical panel is the result. A variety of brilliant colors are available from stock. Class 1 Acoustical Foam and Non-Woven Fabric combine to make an impressive sound control panel.

Flame-resistant Fireflex Foam is an excellent noise absorber for high-temperature applications or buildings requiring Class One Rated materials. Heat resistant to 482° F and able to withstand constant temperatures up to 320° F, Fireflex is engineered for environments where temperatures are high, sparks or other hot materials may fly, large numbers of people congregate, or high technology is used.

Made of a special, open-cell, lightweight acoustic melamine. This material’s internal structure is a spacious cellular complex of slim, flexible, membrane-free, and completely open-celled webs. The result is that Fireflex materials are low-density and extremely lightweight.

Fireflex is approved as a Class One building material and is resistant to many chemicals. FabTEC Panels are available in 1″, 2″, and 3″ thicknesses with a standard size of 24″ x 48″. Custom sizes are available per customer requirements.

The fabric on these panels is Velcro™ compatible.
